        Verdict

        Saeed Bin Suroor has a strong hand here with Mountain Hunter, who stepped up to 1m4f for the first time a fortnight ago and beat the useful Red Galileo, the likely market leader. He led at this trip so won't mind dropping back while stable companion DESERT FIRE steps up in trip after chasing home Nordic Light's over 1m1f when Baroot wasn't far behind in third. That looks strong form and Pat Cosgrave's mount can return to winning ways. Cliffs Of Capri is held by Baroot on earlier running but Mia Tesoro would have to be a real threat if producing her latest run behind Poetic Charm in a Group 2 as she was staying on strongly over that shorter trip.
