    Verdict

Hatch is given the narrow vote in this classified stakes, with What-A-Dancer, Flint River and High Finance the main dangers. The selection ran well behind Sevillano at Leicester last week over 6 furlongs in a stronger race than this, and back at a more suitable trip and with the services of Darryll Holland he will be difficult to beat. What-A-Dancer won last time out on the all-weather at Lingfield when narrowly defeating Hidden Dragon. But he will do well off his current mark to back-up that success and he may have to settle for place money. Flint River won well last time out at Wolverhampton on the all-weather and will not be far away again here. He is an improving type who goes well for today's pilot Tony Culhane and he is sure to be a live contender here with conditions to suit. High Finance is the other worthy of a second look, but she may just need this, her first run of the season, and for the winner we return to Hatch.
