Verdict
Why The Big Paws looks to have found a decent opportunity to open his account over fences and is taken to do so at the main expense of Kylie Time and Mr Auchterlonie. The last mentioned has shown only a modicum of ability over hurdles but may do better now switched to the larger obstacles and, being from the stable of Len Lungo that has been in good from of late he has to be respected. Peter Beaumont's Kylie Time has the look of a chaser but has failed to complete in two starts over fences so far and is difficult to recommend with any confidence. Sue Bradburne's Speed Kris had some respectable form over hurdles but has yet to take to chasing, while Slaney Fox has lost her way over hurdles of late and is probably best watched. Neither The Mighty Flynn nor Mystic Glen make much appeal and a safer bet looks to be Why The Big Paws. Richard Guest's mare is nothing out of the ordinary but she is at least consistent and is taken to make the most of her chasing experience.
