Useful flat horse Coat Of Honour made a winning start to his hurdling career when successful here last month and is taken to follow up in a race where the main dangers look to be Gaelic Flight and Crooked Throw. The last mentioned has been sent over from Ireland by Charlie Swan and comes here on the back of a win in a maiden hurdle at Wexford last month. He has to be respected along with Noel Chance's Gaelic Flight, who made a winning start to his hurdling career when landing a novices' event at Hereford in May but has been twice beaten under penalties since returning in October. He may struggle again. Richard Fahey's Humid Climate has shown a fair level of form and is another to consider along with hurdling newcomer Encounter but the selection has to be Coat Of Honour. Different class to these on the flat when with Sir Mark Prescott, the son of Mark Of Esteem did all that was asked of him when winning on his first start over timber here over 2m4f last month and Howard Johnson's gelding should be too classy for his rivals today.
