Verdict
Sir Sandrovitch can give weight away all round to beat the likes of Radlett Lady, Emperor Cat and Lucius Verrus in the opening event on the card. Richard Fahey's eight-year-old ran a cracker at Wolverhampton last time, finishing like the proverbial train but just failing to get up and beat Best Lead. He has not got his head in front since landing a hat-trick of successes in 2003, but with the step up in trip to suit, he can come good on only his third start after a five month break. Radlett Lady appears to be the main danger as she lines up in a bit of form, but her front-running style means she will be there to be picked off by the selection. Emperor Cat's second in a seller here last time does not look good enough either, but Lucius Verrus may benefit from the drop back in trip to be placed. However, it is hard to see past Sir Sandrovitch who gets a confident vote.
