    Verdict

Park Star gets a narrow vote over Dubai Dreams, Flying Edge, Bold Wolf and Mr Uppity. Park Star is fully exposed and has not won since scoring at Windsor in May 2003, but an encouraging third at Wolverhampton last time gives cause for encouragement. He was taken very wide into the straight but stayed on stoutly when the pace picked up, and as he is well treated and has won here before, must have a squeak in a wide-open contest. Flying Edge will appreciate being back on the fibresand and also the drop back in trip after trying to make all at Wolverhampton last time. Dubai Dreams kept on well over five furlongs here on his last outing, while Bold Wolf was third in claiming company. Mr Uppity is worth a mention as he was close up behind Radlett Lady when sent off favourite over the course and distance last month. In the context of this event that was not a bad effort, and he should go well again. However, we will stick our neck out and go for Park Star.
