Verdict
Joint Authority, Midlem Melody and Dene View look the main protagonists in another tough handicap chase with the vote going to Joint Authority. The gelding from the Len Lungo yard won a shade cozily when winning over course and distance last time when defeating Stone Cold and although he runs under a penalty he is taken to win again with conditions to suit. Midlem Melody rates the main danger on his best form but he was disappointing last time out. However that was on soft ground and he will be suited by this faster surface, but he has never won over a trip this far before so is passed over on this occasion. Dene View is also worthy of respect as he is from a yard in form and has dropped To a handy mark but he has looked uncooperative of late. Of the remainder Gangsters R Us is from a shrewd yard and is worth noting in the market but we are happy to side with the bang in form Joint Authority.
