Verdict
Opera Glass and El Laoob have both shown enough to suggest they can win races but this should go to Felicity, who is progressing with each start and should be too classy for her rivals. John Gosden's filly looked in need of her only start as a two-year-old and again as if the run would bring her on when a creditable third in Listed race-company on her reappearance. The daughter of Selkirk weakened inside the final furlong when third behind the useful Time Ahead in a decent Newmarket maiden last time and, with nothing of that calibre in opposition here, she is taken to make full use of the drop in class today. Opera Glass has finished in the frame in all four of her starts so far and should again be thereabouts but is once again likely to find at least one too good and a bigger threat may be El Laoob. Like the selection she is trained by John Gosden and is open to improvement after just two starts, latterly when a disappointing favourite over a mile here. The step up in trip is likely to help the daughter of Red Ramsom and she has to be respected. Henry Cecil's Fancy Affair, a daughter of Kris, did not see the racecourse as a juvenile and makes a belated debut. She may need the run but is another worthy of a mention, along with Luca Cumani's well-bred Three Dimensions, who is by Sadler's Wells out of Bequest.
