Verdict
This does not look to be that strong a race and Deuxieme, Enrapture, Tetcott and Woodland Glade form our shortlist, with the vote going to Enrapture. The selection showed plenty of promise when fifth on her sole run to date, last August at Newmarket. Ok, she has not been seen since but the form of that race - with the winner, Red Bloom, going on to be fourth in this year's 1,000 Guineas, and two of the next three home having won since - has worked out very well and, if she is straight enough to do herself justice, then she must hold solid claims. Deuxieme has to come into the reckoning based on her Newbury debut third, although she was then a bit disappointing at Folkestone. Of the others, Tetcott made late headway at Salisbury on her debut and should improve, while Woodland Glade, a half-sister to the high-class sprinter Baron's Pit, is another to pay some heed to. Watch the market with regard to the others but, overall, for us the vote goes to Enrapture.
