Verdict
We like the look of Morgan Lewis here ahead of Kostar, Instant Recall and Bee Minor. Plenty of runners here but Morgan Lewis looked well weighted ahead of his Haydock engagement last time, and so it proved as he landed a gamble in tidy style. Despite a six-pound penalty, he will be popular as he bids to follow up that success. Apex has been knocking at the door, Bee Minor looks interesting off his current mark but is only marginally better off with Kostar for the head that separated them in maiden company at Salisbury in July. However, Kostar might have the greater improvement in him and he could well pose the selection the most problems. Ask The Clerk is getting closer to a winning mark, and Instant Recall is proving tough and consistent. Overall, though, the one they all have to beat is Morgan Lewis.
