Verdict

SPECIAL SEASON left a good impression when romping home by seven lengths on his racecourse debut at Sandown. This extra furlong should not be a problem and he gets the nod. Stormy Antarctic won the other division of the same maiden race at Sandown and shares the same handicap mark as Ripon runner-up Fleeting Visit while Manton Grange had Navajo War Dance three lengths behind when third at Ascot. It was soft ground when Ocean Jive scored at Goodwood and he is preferred to Blackout while Marcus Tregoning has won this twice in recent years and could have found an easier opportunity for the newcomer Tukhoom, a half-brother to Listed winner Tupi.
