Verdict
DARK EMERALD (NAP) has had to give plenty of weight to a couple of three-year-olds in Kodi Bear and Richard Pankhurst on his last couple of starts. He's up against lesser opposition in this and should have the measure of the likes of Hathal, Lexington Times and Montalcino. The former pair have been beaten in a handicaps of late but the latter has been thereabouts in Group 3 company and should be in the mix. Ascription is another likely to go well dropping down in class after finishing well behind Toormore in the Lennox Stakes and Jallota is not out of this given he finished second in last year's renewal.
