Verdict
As is to be expected this is going to be yet another furiously competitive renewal and will provide some of the day's most furious action from the betting ring. Wunders Dream has long been touted as the ideal type for this race and is entitled to plenty of respect after bolting up at Newmarket and Nottingham. Hurricane Alan looks to be the best of an impressive bunch from the Richard Hannon yard who line up here, but it would be dangerous to underestimate the chances of any of the sextet - with Presto Vento appealing as a viable alternative to the stable's main threat. Miss Mirasol and Sir Edwin Landseer are others for the shortlist and will not need to improve too much on their progressive profiles to figure strongly. Queens Victory should also give a good account of herself if she can build on what she has shown so far.
