In depth
Verdict
Some of these have been expensive to follow in the past and whichever horse eventually emerges as the winner, will not be doing so out of turn. However, Finished Article and Calcutta have at least given their supporters some respite recently and are again closely matched here. That said they do need things to go there own way and their knack of meeting trouble in running will always leave them vulnerable. The same sentiments apply to Laggan Minstrel but he is long overdue a change of luck and cannot be discounted on these terms. However, Forbearing should be suited by the ground and may able to steel a march on his rivals if he is allowed to set his own pace when they field begin to bunch up approaching the final quarter.
