In depth

Verdict

Orkan only ran twice last year, scoring here and at Wetherby, before reappearing with another victory at Warwick. He couldn't handle a 14lb rise and a step up to Grade 2 company in the Morebattle at Kelso but this is more his level. LIVELY CITIZEN won a handicap at Cheltenham in November and made a bold bid to defy a 4lb rise on a return visit a month later. He'll be better for last month's run at Doncaster and can get back to winning ways. Swaffham Bulbeck was in fine form on good ground last summer and his two recent efforts have been in jumpers' bumpers on the Tapeta track here. El Borracho has dropped to his last winning mark while Beach Break, who won a Class 3 handicap at Sedgefield last summer, didn't enjoy give in the ground at Stratford last month.
