Verdict
Intrepid Jack is the obvious one here, with Cross My Mind a sporting option for each-way backers; while High bray can also be expected to have benefited from his reappearance and can go close. The last named has been consistent for David Elsworth and can pay his way again before too long. Any rain will be a big help today. Cross My Mind also has solid place claims on the pick of his form and support in the betting ring will be very dangerous to ignore. His reappearance effort confirmed he still has enthusiasm for the game and, from a nice racing weight; he should be given plenty of respect. Bahiano, Compton's Eleven and Binanti are all closely matched on the Bunbury Cup form and should again run their races. However, Intrepid Jack beat them all out of sight at Ascot and will be extremely hard to peg back if he is in the same frame of mind this afternoon.
