      Verdict

      The consistent Usk Poppy gets the nod in the finale in which Dash To The Front and My Princess can be fancied to thrown down stern challenges. Last year's winner of this race, My Princess, has dropped to a handy mark and appears to be running into good form. She has been hard to win with though and is not one to rely upon too heavily in a finish. Dash To The Front has stacks of scope for improvement and, as his yard has done very well with similar types, this son of Diktat is sure to be a popular choice in the betting. However, he will help to make the price for Usk Poppy, who has really got his game plan intact and, with the ground not expected to be a problem, David Elsworth's charge is best value option in the last race of the day at Headquarters.
