Verdict

The race won by EXCELEBRATION at Doncaster has worked out well with the runner-up winning since, and we will side with Marco Botti's charge to follow-up today at the main expense of Local Singer and Inagh River. The selection is kept to 6f by his trainer after showing good speed and then keeping on strongly to land that maiden auction race, and he is likely to be able to improve again for that experience and add to his CV. Local Singer took a while to come to hand but got off the mark in a Catterick maiden over this trip last time. The ground will suit and he is respected. Inagh River may not have done quite as well as some Richard Hannon-trained juveniles this season, but she did win a Nottingham maiden and has twice made the frame since, so she is not ruled out. Alaskan Spirit obliged at the first time of asking in a Carlisle maiden earlier in the month and should not be underestimated in spite of the step-up in grade, but Excelebration will take a bit of beating.
