Verdict
An interesting contest with some unexposed types in opposition but Enford Princess is taken to complete a hat-trick at the main expense of Pearl Grey, Menhoubah and Russian Ruby. Richard Hannon's charge made a winning debut over his trip on Newmarket's Rowley Mile course in late May and confirmed she is very much on the upgrade with a decisive success in a fair conditions event at Windsor next time. Open to further improvement and well suited by both trip and ground, the daughter of Pivotal sets the standard. David Loder's Pearl Grey showed the benfit of her initial start when a facile winner at Nottingham but this represents a massive step up in class and she has plenty to prove. Menhoubah made a pleasing winning debut at Headquarters last month and the form has been boosted by the runner-up since so Clive Brittain's filly has to be respected. Russian Ruby is 5lb better off with he selection for a half-length beating at Newmarket but had a fitness advantage that day and may have to settle for minor honours once again behind Enford Princess who can maintain her unbeaten sequence.
