Verdict
Richard Hannon, who had two entered in this at the five days, relies on Billy Allen. He comes from the same family as the smart sprinter Lugana Beach and is from a stable that has already been on the scoresheet with its juveniles. Sahara Scirocco, for whom Pat Eddery is an interesting booking, may be one to keep an eye on. Ian Wood's colt is out of an unraced mare, but there are plenty of winners in the family, including the useful juvenile winner Sweet Robin. However, the main danger could be Cop Hill Lad, who is out of a mare that won three races at this trip and is from the same family as the high-class sprinter Lord Kintyre. Rod Millman's colt is an early foal and is sure to be well forward. Harry Up has plenty of speed in his pedigree and this January foal is from a stable that struck with a juvenile winner at Southwell last week.
