        Verdict

        Another weak heat which will take little winning. The disappointing Analyze goes well on fast ground, and with Dean Corby taking 5lbs off his back, he looks the one to beat. He is effective over course and distance and runs here in preference to an entry at Folkestone later on this week. No shortage of dangers, including winning chaser Polish Spirit. Although not seen on the flat since the year 2000, where he picked up five races, on all types of ground, Rod Millman's gelding finished that season on a career high mark of 84. So if chasing hasn't blunted his speed too much, he would look to have an excellent chance in this 0-70. Oldenway had a successful season last year, finishing out of the frame only twice from nine outings. A winner on fast ground at Chester back in June, off a mark of 65, would give him every chance in this, if tuned up. All-Weather winner Kingkohler, the maiden In Xanadu and Kassamba, are others who can be given a chance of sorts.
