Verdict
This is sure to be fast and furious with some real speed merchants in opposition. Repertory has been a grand servant to connections and appears to go on most types of ground. However, he has to shoulder the maximum penalty here and looks to face a stiff task on these terms. Indian Spark comes into this in good nick having been runner-up to the progressive Pickled at Doncaster, despite not having the best of runs. While that form bears the closest inspection, he will do well to confirm the placings with Fromsong, who is 8lbs better off for just over four-lengths. That was Fromsong's first outing since last July, so there is every reason to believe he will find plenty of improvement. The winner of 15 races, Dancing Mystery is another who owes connections nothing. He often ran with credit in the face of some difficult tasks last term, and certainly comes here with place claims. Hufflepuff has speed to burn, but she does need to improve on what she has shown to date, although she does get plenty of weight and isn't one to dismiss lightly. However, the vote goes to Olivia Grace, who was a much improved sprinter last season and ended the year lumping top weight to victory at Ascot. She gets all the allowances here and will be difficult to beat.
