Verdict
EPONINA had only two rivals when successful here two weeks ago but that was a welcome return to form for Mick Appleby’s filly, who had disappointed here the time before after winning at Leicester. She’s improved for a change of stables and can go in again. Al Reeh was disappointing when joint favourite at Kempton last month but Golden Guest warrants respect as he seems better over a mile nowadays. La Sioux is back on a winning mark but will need to run better than she did last time at Ayr when tailed off.
