Several in-form fillies here and the narrow vote goes to Pick A Nice Name ahead of Mugeba and Word Perfect. Despite racing from out of the handicap, the selection scored impressively at Pontefract ten days ago. She seemed to revel in the soft ground on that occasion and with the ground riding very testing once again, she looks sure to run another big race. Word Perfect bounced back with a bang when scoring at Hamilton however she has proved to be hit and miss in the past. Mugeba is also at home in the mud and Gay Kelleway's mare holds her form pretty well so mustn't be ruled out, along with Joyeux and Overwing who both have claims on their best form. She's Minnie is still on a winning mark, whilst Juncea is unproven on the turf. It may be a tough ask to score on ground this soft first time up this year, and so we are happy to return to Pick A Nice Name as the selection.
