        Verdict

        A dire affair in which there a few characters on view and Bahhmirage, Silver Visage and Desert Lightning appear to hold the more obvious claims and our nomination is given to Bahhmirage. Stef Liddiard's charge was unsighted over six furlongs but is more at home over today's trip and could strike from a preferable draw. Silver Visage is not devoid of early and there is every reason to suggest that the Brighton winner can give another good account of himself. Desert Lightning is on a long losing run but is well in on BHB figures. Baytown Valentina produced a first ever display of form at Chepstow although consistency has never been a strong point. Al Rayanah is not known as a particularly speedy starter and should be watched later on in the race. Not a race to get too involved in but Bahhmirage has a modicum of ability and it may be enough to suffice.
