Verdict
Barons Spy is narrowly preferred to Curtain Bluff in our finale. Richard Price's team are in good heart at the moment and there was a lot to like about Barons Spy's victory last week. That said, this effort followed a decent display at Newmarket a week earlier. Curtain Bluff finally consented to get his head infront at Wolverhampton after many unsuccessful attempts. Malech has struggled since landing a victory at Yarmouth earlier in the season and may need to come down a few pounds before he will be in the winners enclosure. Murrumbidgee was a facile scorer in an apprentice race and is watched accordingly in the market. Missed A Beat looks best of the rest. An intriguing finale in which Barons Spy is given the nod.
