In depth

Verdict

The betting will provide some further clues in this opener regarding the newcomers however Raggle Taggle and Kingswinford set a fair standard and narrow preference is for Raggle Taggle. The selection only went down by the smallest of margins when she made her racecourse debut at Lingfield earlier in the month and is expected to have learnt plenty from that run. The ground is a bit of an imponderable but if she handles it then a big run should be on the cards. Kingswinford also showed plenty of ability on his debut at Bath and this son of Noverre should be a major player with his stable in form. He has already been gelded but he should be wiser today and should be monitored for market support. Harwalla, from a stable in form, must be respected, whilst Voulez Vous represents a stable that can get one ready first time up. Call Me Courageous should improve for his debut but he will need to, and so it is Raggle Taggle who receives the vote.
