Verdict
A large field goes to post for this handicap hurdle but on closer inspection not many can be given a chance of winning but a chance is taken on Beseiged. The gelding from the bang in form Richard Fahey yard made a pleasing debut in a handicap at Kelso when making all to defeat Mister Chisum, and although he has risen in the weights he will be hard to beat with conditions again in his favour. Thoutmosis is another from an in form yard and he could have been let in lightly for this his handicap debut, having been a fair third behind Bushido last time out. Polish Cloud has not progressed since his debut win but as a consequence has dropped to a handy mark. Thunder Canyon has ran well in defeat of late over a variety of trips but connections do not appear to know his best distance. Of the remainder Stormy Beach is in form but his best efforts have come on soft ground.
