Verdict
Charlie Mann's Young Patriarch is likely to struggle under his penalty and preference is for Antigiotto, who gets the verdict over Capitana. The last mentioned had respectable form on the flat in Germany and has to be respected but the yard of Nicky Henderson has been rather quiet of late and she is probably best passed over. Mr Dinglawi has shown promise in two starts over hurdles and is another to consider along with Henrietta Knight's newcomer It's Blue Chip, who was nothing out of the ordinary on the level but would not need to be anything special over hurdles to play a part in the finish. With Martin Pipe's stable continuing to struggle, Don't Ask Me is probably best left out of calculations and preference is for Antigiotto. Peter Bowen's gelding was the best of these on the flat and showed distinct signs of promise in a better race than this at Newbury on his hurdling debut in November.
