Verdict
Lillebror gets the confident vote with The Local and Antony Ebeneezer rating the main dangers. The selection won in facile fashion last time out when defeating Amadeus granted he is rising in the weights but he still looks ahead of the handicapper and under conditions that suit he is taken to score. The Local rates the main danger on his latest win over La Marietta but he had an easy lead through out on that occasion and that does not look likely here so he is passed over on this occasion. Antony Ebeneezer is another worthy of respect on his best form but he was pulled up last time out for no apparent reason so he can not be put forward with any confidence. Waverley Road was a fair third behind Ken Scott last time and is another with place claims but he needs to improve to defeat the selection. Of the remainder Shaman is from a shrewd yard and should be noted in the market but for the winner we return to Lillebror.
