Verdict

A wide open bumper rounds off the card and as usual in these types of events the market will be all important but the principals look to be Prestbury Knight, Its A Dream and Round The Horn and the vote goes to Prestbury Knight. The selection was a fair third in a better race than this last time behind Earth Man that form has since been franked and he need only run up to that mark to score. It's A Dream rates the main danger on breeding as he is a gelding by Oscar from a top yard and should be noted in the market. Round The Horn is a gelding by Master Willie and is another to watch. Of the remainder Good Samaritan was sent off favourite last time but was very disappointing. However he is clearly thought capable of better. But in a race that throws up more questions than answers for the winner we return to Prestbury Knight.
