    Verdict

DESERT ICON is likely to be a short price in this after a very encouraging first effort in the Wood Ditton at Newmarket two weeks ago. He was beaten more than 11 lengths by the impressive UAE Jewel but was slowly away and not given a hard time in the closing stages. Global Express dropped away tamely at Ripon but drops in trip here whereas Stone Cougar step up from a mile after a one-paced fifth at Redcar. Darwin Dream may also enjoy the extra yardage but Jeweller is likely to need more time and Selino is best watched making his debut.
