Verdict

Casement made a winning debut for Mick Appleby over course and distance but disappointed when favourite at Southwell a couple of weeks ago. Back on Turf, losses could be recovered but KRIPKE (NAP) is entitled to improve on a promising reappearance at Redcar and can race off the same mark. Royal Shaheen has the past form to figure but there is no real evidence to suggest that the maiden Mount Ararat is improving. Mutarakez is 4lb lower than when successful over track and trip last year, however, so the recent Nottingham runner-up is much respected.
