In depth

Verdict

ZERO TEN looked a cracking prospect with very impressive victories at Galway and Leopardstown and was sent off favourite for a Fairyhouse Grade 2 on his first start over this trip. He travelled well throughout but a last-flight mistake halted his momentum and he couldn't get past Dommage Pour Toi. Compensation awaits here though Willie Mullins, who saddled the close third that day, will fancy the chances of Voix Des Tiep, who beat a subsequent winner at Gowran in March. However, he'd earlier finished six lengths behind The Big Dog over this trip at Gowran and Peter Fahey's charge didn't run up to his best in a Grade 1 at Leopardstown later. The Holy One makes a quick reappearance after landing a novices' handicap at Fairyhouse last week but this looks tougher while both Chavi Artist and Whatsafellatodo are taking on better company.
