        Verdict

        This is another open race in which Tiber Tiger, In The Pink and Growler all look to have strong claims and the vote is given to the Nick Littmoden-trained Tiber Tiger. The selection ran well at Thirsk last time when a fair fourth behind Tanforan over 1m. The drop in trip will certainly suit and this course and distance winner looks the one to be with. In The Pink won well over a mile here last time and she seems to enjoy racing on this track. She is in good heart at present and is respected as a live danger to our selection. Growler is another who won well last time out at Carlisle when beating Iskander, but he had the race run to suit that day and he may not be allowed an easy lead today. Of the remainder, Dark Champion ran as though returning to a bit of form last time and is entitled to respect, but for the winner we will stick with Tiber Tiger.
