Verdict

The low draw could be a big help for Stan's Girl as she bids to rid herself of the maiden tag and, as such, Mick Channon's filly is fancied to make the most of her favourable position in the stalls; possibly at the main expense of Goldhill Prince, who looks to be going the right way after a couple of good efforts in defeat. Steal The Thunder is another that has already shown signs of ability and is worth bearing in mind now that her stable have started to get back amongst the winners. Whereas moves for any of the newcomers will give sound indications towards the expectations held of them on their first visits to a racecourse. However, they are all cheap purchases and make limited appeal in the absence of a reliable betting guide. Therefore, it may be best to stick with Stan's Girl as she put in a much improved performance at Haydock last time and is obviously progressing as she gains experience. The daughter of Fraam's purchase price dwarves that of the majority of her rivals and her connections will be very disappointed if Stan's Girl does not deliver this time around.
