Only a handful stand a feasible chance if the official ratings are anything to go by; and Guest Connections makes the most appeal from a betting perspective. Harry Up and Caribbean Coral can give him the most to think about. Harry Up is a tough and wily character that can be relied upon to run his race. However, he does appear to have a lost his way a touch of late and, as his latest effort was too bad to be true, he may be best left alone for win only purposes for the time being. A case can be laid out for Mister Fips making the frame, should he consent to run to his best. Still, his two outings this season have hardly been inspiring and he is probably a risky option. It would be no surprise to see Caribbean Coral stamp his authority on a modest race like this, as he drops into claiming company for the first time. However, the nine-year-old does not always go through with his effort and, even though he has an obvious chance in this company, he is too frustrating to recommend with maximum confidence. Therefore, it can be worth siding with Guest Connections, who has been running well of late and, as his yard do well in races of this nature, David Nicholls' charge is taken as the one to be on this time around.
