In depth
Verdict
Trojan Flight has a great chance of defying a penalty to land this prize, while Misaro and Bridgewater Boys can give him most to do. The selection has been improving throughout the last month or so and goes equally as well over five and six furlongs. Last time out he finished runner-up to Hout Bay over the minimum trip at Beverley and with that rival having won again recently, the form looks solid. He also acts with cut in the ground and he can score. Misaro is another who acts well on the ground, although he is not particularly consistent. However, he finished a close second at Hamilton last time and has been put back up 3lb as a result, which will not help his cause here. Bridgewater Boys loves the track and has been in good form this summer, that was until flopping last time out at Hamilton, off the same mark as today. Whether there was anything wrong there, or it was simply the weight that took its toll we will probably not find out until the end of the race here, but he can put in a better effort from this draw and he should not be too far away. The selection though, is Trojan Flight.
