REEL BUDDY STAR can come good again here, while other shortlist contenders are Romantic Destiny, Lee Miller and Suzi Spends. The George Moore-trained selection races over his optimum trip here and the key to his winning chance may well be the better ground here than he has raced on of late. Always competitive, his yard is in decent nick too, and he can take his chance today. Romantic Destiny broke her maiden at Thirsk over 7f last time, but her pedigree suggests that this is not the trip for her to follow up over, so we will oppose. Lee Miller was a Pontefract 10f maiden winner in June but was found out from 1lb higher on her handicap debut last time. The drop in trip should suit though and she can pick up some prize money, while Suzi Spends is a tough filly who scored at Great Leighs last time and from 2lb higher she may emerge as the most serious danger to our pick Reel Buddy Star.
