    Verdict

A trappy looking contest here where the tentative vote goes to Mubeen to gain reward for some consistent efforts, with Sharplaw Venture, Captain Saif and Tycoon Hall likely to test him. The selection runs off a mark of 96 here again after a series of placed efforts, but sees out a mile well, goes on the ground and can make this a test of stamina against some who still really have to prove that they get home over this distance. Tough and genuine, he can take this under Kieren Fallon. Sharplaw Venture is arguably better off at the weights with the selection as they stand in this contest, but although running well when tried over a mile for the first time at Royal Scot recently, he still has to prove he gets the trip. The same can be said of both Captain Saif and Tycoon Hall, who would both have outstanding chances if this were over 7f, but neither of whom have yet shown that they are capable of their best over the extra furlong. Therefore we will go with the safest option available, and that is Mubeen.
