Verdict
Mubeen is expected to land the feature race at the expense of Jay Gee's Choice and Sharplaw Venture. Ed Dunlop's colt has posted any number of good efforts this season and was successful here as a juvenile. He has always been highly rated but seems to need strong handling-he will get that here with Kieren Fallon in the plate, and the son of Barathea makes more appeal than Jay Gee's Choice who has the ability required but is a bit hit and miss at present. with that in mind a bigger danger to the selection may be Sharplaw venture who is improving with each run and has the assistance of in-form Darryll Holland. The Hannon pair have to concede weight so we return to Mubeen as the answer to the feature event.
