Verdict
Richard Hannon's Woodland Glade showed promise on her Newbury debut over seven furlongs but this half-sister to the sprinter Baron's Pit is not certain to appreciate the step up to a mile and preference is for Zameyla, who gets the verdict over Ela Paparouna. The selection has shown improved form since a disappointing debut effort and deserves to get her head in front after going down in a driving finish to Keyaki at Yarmouth last time. Henry Candy's Ela Paparouna rates an obvious danger but is proving expensive to follow and may again have to settle for a minor role. Gerard Butler's Elusive Kitty has shown ability but the stable remains quiet and she is probably best left alone for betting purposes. John Gosden's Sabander Bay is probably better than she showed on her debut but needs to step up considerably on the form shown at Salisbury. Paul Cole's Supamach looks the best of the remainder in a race taken to go to Zameyla.
