        Verdict

        Hoh Bleu Dee has an obvious chance at the weights but is far from certain to stay and preference is for Fort Churchill, who gets the vote over Varuni. The last mentioned has struggled in handicaps since winning in similar grade on the Polytrack in February but may appreciate the return to this level. The David Evans-trained Go Green won a seller at Chepstow last month but has also been outclassed in better races since. She is worthy of a mention along with Richard Hannon's Rinneen, who receives weight from all of her rivals. Pangloss seemed not to stay two miles when tackling the trip for the first time at Goodwood last month and should appreciate the return to this distance, while Hoh Bleu Dee, who did not seem to stay 1m2f on his only start beyond a mile can hardly be backed with any confidence. The vote then goes to the Mark Tompkins-trained Fort Churchill, who is well treated judged by official BHB ratings and has no problems with trip or ground. He should be too good for his rivals.
