Verdict

Dubai Horizon took advantage of a slight drop in the weights back over his best trip at Ayr but has been hit with a 9lb rise, though Jason Watson claims back 3lb. COMMUNIQUE, already a winner three times this season, is a typically tough Mark Johnston handicapper verging on Listed class. He ran another solid race when fourth at York last week and should go close here if he doesn’t get caught in an early tussle for the lead. Restorer can never be ignored in races like this and Rotherwick has been getting closer. Not So Sleepy and Mountain Angel are also worth a second look, as is the selections stablemate Dream Today. Almoreb may be getting his act together but History Writer was a bit disappointing last time and the in-form Red Force One is untried at this level.
