Verdict

John Gosden won this with the classy Too Darn Hot in 2018 and runs Pied Piper, who is the first foal to race of a 1m2f winner. But Charlie Appleby has won two of the last three and can strike again with SYMBOLIC POWER, who is by Kingman and also bred to stay further even though he is a half-brother to a juvenile winner. Love Is Golden has a cracking pedigree as he is a half-brother to six winners, including the Arc runner-up and Irish and Yorkshire Oaks winner Sea Of Class, so any market move for the Johnston runner would need to be heeded. Recovery Run is the best of those with experience but this could be a hot maiden.
