    Verdict

    ENEMY was probably the moral winner of a handicap here last month as he was hampered in the closing stages and only beaten a short-head. He could have done without a 2lb rise but is probably the one to beat. Nova Roma was much too keen at Newbury and outpaced inside the final 2f having won earlier at Windsor and Louganini makes more appeal as he’s won two of his three starts with his only defeat coming when fourth in a race that’s worked out well. However, he won’t have encountered going this quick before whereas Star Of Wins won his maiden at Windsor on a fast surface.
