Verdict

NEW WORLD POWER found only subsequent Derby runner Ullysses too good at Newbury on his debut and Roger Varian’s colt should go close with normal progress. Autocratic was second over a mile at Chelmsford on his latest start but was well beaten over today’s trip earlier while Henry Croft drops back from 1m4f after a modest start at Haydock. Makzeem finished closer stepped up to today’s distance at Nottingham but Alquffaal was well beaten on his return to action at Pontefract.
