Verdict
Mick Channon won this a year ago and Summer Icon has been progressing enough to warrant consideration on her handicap debut. Miniaturist shot out of the stalls and made all over the course and distance last month and though the form hasn't worked out particularly well there will be more to come from Mark Johnston's colt. AUXILIARY was an odds-on chance to complete a double at Newbury and won it in the end though the slow pace didn't suit his style and the likely fast gallop here can enable him to land a hat-trick. Time Warp had looked certain to win a race before doing so in very easy fashion at Southwell and though taking a big step-up in class he's very much respected.
