In depth

Verdict

The four-year-old TURKESTAN takes on older horses, as he did when a close second to Presenting Bonnie, who runs in the previous race, at Kilbeggan, and can go one better. Lusis Naturea has run well on the Flat since landing a Navan handicap and a 5lb rise looks manageable while Mon Storm has won three times around here though may just need further these days. Mr Moondance, another course winner, had been in fine form before finding the company too hot at Bellewestown last weekend when Dollar Value was also well beaten. Goulane Chosen took advantage of a much lower hurdles mark at Tramore but went up 12lb and couldn't stage a repeat at Kilbeggan.
