In depth

Verdict

Maricruz is on a long losing run and much higher in the ratings than on the all-weather. Gee Rex has been operating over hurdles but won three of his previous four on the level before a moderate run in the Irish Lincoln where Insignia Of Rank ran a cracking race in third. SO I TOLD YOU came here for a decent handicap just over a fortnight ago and just did enough to see off Hamley, who reopposes. There should be little between them again but the winner could just edge it. Dedillon's two victories came over a mile and he's shot up the weights while Approach The City will find this tougher that the Dundalk claimers he's won.
